Chris has been a true “car guy” as long as he can remember. His first project car was a Jag XJ6 made of plastic of course! At age three he worked on that car tirelessly for hours alongside his brothers who had the real thing. After tinkering with bicycles, scooters and go-carts Chris bought his first car, a ’55 Chevy, at the age of 14. Working with his dad, he rebuilt the drive-train, learned to do bodywork and wiring and eventually made a profit to start other projects.
He begin his professional automotive career while still in high school working after hours at a local restoration shop that specialized in early Mustangs. At the age of 21 he built an incredible ’67 Nova that received national magazine recognition and a Good Guys pick.
Chris continued his career in the automotive industry as a technician, service writer and general manger. He received his Bachelor of Arts Degree from Northwest University in 2008 and even has several years of youth ministry under his belt. In 2007 he made the decision to return to his passion of building high quality hot rods and muscle cars. Out of this passion, Chris Holstrom Concepts was born.
